Privacy Policy – Equilibria
Effective date: 4 November 2026
This policy explains how Equilibria (the "game"), a mobile puzzle game published by Levelwise Games ("we", "us"), handles information. We keep it simple: the game does not ask for your name, email or any account. It shows ads through Google AdMob or, on devices without Google Play services (such as recent Huawei phones), through Unity Ads, and it uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is played (for example, which levels players find hard). It also uses Meta's software to measure how well our ads for the game on Facebook and Instagram work. These services may collect some information as described below.
1. Information stored on your device
The game saves your level progress, hint count and settings (such as sound on/off) only on your device. This data is not sent to us or anyone else. Uninstalling the game or clearing its data deletes it.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob and Unity Ads)
On most Android devices the game shows ads using Google AdMob, provided by Google LLC. On devices without Google Play services (for example, recent Huawei phones) it uses Unity Ads, through Unity's LevelPlay service, provided by Unity Technologies and its affiliates (including ironSource). This includes optional rewarded videos (watched in exchange for a hint) and occasional full-screen ads between levels. To show and measure ads, the ad provider's software may collect and process information such as:
- your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers;
- IP address and approximate location (derived from IP);
- device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version);
- ad interactions (for example, which ads were shown or tapped) and diagnostic data.
This information is collected and used by each provider according to its own policies. You can learn more here:
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
- Google Privacy Policy
- Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy
3. Game analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
To improve the game, it uses Google Analytics for Firebase, provided by Google LLC, on all devices. It records how the game is used, for example: when a level is started, solved or left unsolved, how long it took, how many hints and resets were used, whether a hint video was watched, and how many levels have been completed. Along with this, the Firebase software collects:
- an app instance ID (a random identifier for this installation) and, where available, your device's advertising ID;
- device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version) and approximate location (country/region, derived from IP address);
- usage information such as sessions, time spent in the game and first launch.
We use this only in aggregate, to find levels that are too hard or too easy and to improve the game. We do not use it to identify you. On devices without Google Play services, Google cannot add demographic information to this data. Learn more: Privacy and Security in Firebase.
After you have played for a while, the game may ask the store you installed it from (Google Play or Huawei AppGallery) to show its rating window. Any rating or review you leave goes to the store under its own policy; the game itself never sees it.
4. Measuring our ad campaigns (Meta)
We advertise the game on Facebook and Instagram. To find out how many people install and open the game after seeing those ads, the game includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. It does not show ads in the game and does not ask you to log in with Facebook. When you open the game, it sends Meta:
- the fact that the game was installed or opened (app events);
- your device's advertising ID, only where allowed (see below);
- device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version) and IP address, from which approximate location may be derived.
Meta uses this to tell us how our ad campaigns perform and to show our ads to people more likely to enjoy the game. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the advertising ID is only sent if you agreed in the game's consent message; otherwise Meta receives the app event without it. Meta handles this information under its own policy: Meta Privacy Policy.
5. Your choices and consent
- Europe, UK and Switzerland: when required by law, the game shows a consent message the first time you open it, where you can accept or choose how your data is used for ads. Your choice is passed on to the ad provider the game uses on your device and also decides whether your advertising ID is shared with Meta. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy button on the game's home screen.
- Personalised ads: on Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on your device; on Huawei devices, Settings → Privacy → Ads and privacy).
- Rewarded videos are always optional: you choose whether to watch one for an extra hint.
6. Information we do not collect
We do not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location or payment information. The game does not use in-app purchases, and the analytics described above are never linked to your name or contact details.
7. Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will help remove it.
8. Data security and retention
We do not run servers of our own and do not store your personal information on them. Analytics data is kept by Google Analytics for a limited period (no longer than 14 months) and then deleted automatically. Information processed by Google, Unity or Meta for ads is kept according to their policies linked above.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the effective date at the top.
